Future clients. If, early in the week of your wedding the forecast is for rain and you're (understandably!) nervous, I'm just going to put you in touch with Shay and Scott. The weather for their wedding didn't just call for rain, but a total and complete weekend washout. I was shooting another job nearby on Friday and stopped by to see them and grab a few of what we thought would be the only dry outdoor photos possible (the first two images below), but by Saturday afternoon we just didn't have no rain, we actually had about 90-minutes of legit sun and blue sky. Bottom line? Don't check the weather until after lunch the day before your wedding, and even then, it's probably a good idea to maintain a healthy dose of skepticism.
I've known these guys for a while, first meeting Shay at her day job a few years ago, and this wedding really just felt like hanging out with friends, truly a great way to kick the 2017 wedding season into full swing. I was joined for the day by good friend Stephen Grigoriou, and some of his images appear below (including the awesome napkin-waving grandpa shot!)
