If you paid really close attention to this space last week, you've already seen a few of these image that snuck into my annual "best of the year" post, but today I'm excited to share Bethany and Fred's wedding in full. I first met these two at Bethany's sister's wedding back in 2014, and couldn't have been happier to hear from them when Bethany reached out early last year. As you might imagine, repeat clients in the wedding business isn't typical (or even a good thing!), but when you have the chance to work with such a fantastic family more than once it really reminds me why I love what I do.
Although this was my third wedding at the Omni Mount Washington, it was my first winter trip to the resort. All through the planning process, whenever the subject of weather came up Bethany and I agreed the best case scenario would be to have snow on the mountains in the background but for the temperature to be bearably warm for outdoor photos at the resort. In keeping with a theme from my 2015 weddings, the weather gods were smiling on us, and it was clear and in the mid-30s for most of the day, allowing us time for some great shots with the White Mountains as our backdrop.
I was also joined by good friend Eric McCallister for the day, and many of his images are included below.
